Strength and Weakness of Research paper
One strength I had in my paper was that my organization of the body paragraphs were good. The thing I need to grow on is the content of the paper and having all the requirements and answering the essential questions.

Characters One main character was Reverend Hale. He is the witch craft hunter and is one of the more knowlegable and honest people in the play. He always tried to get people to testify so the court could get down to the bottom but there were so many lies that they couldn't. Another major character is Abigail Williams. She is the antangonist in the play. Abigail was always lying in the play about everything so that she can get away scotch free. A minor charactor is Elizabeth Proctor. She is the wife of John Proctor. She is a very jealous woman and is ver suspicious of John and Abagail. Elizabeth thinks that Abigail is the one doing the witch craft. But her husband John Proctor is another minor character in the novel. He has a "crush" on Abigail which leads to them having a affair. Summary In a town in New England called Salem. It is believed that while a group of girls were doing witch craft in the forest when they were dancing. One girl goes into a coma which makes them believe that there was witch craft. They bring in a witch craft expert and he helps them out but cannot get the bottom of it because there are many lies being told. The book has many twists and turns and it is very surprising. Rating I rate this book at about 4 because it keeps you guessing the whole time and it doesn't give anything away. Some books you can guess what is coming next but I couldn't do this in The Crucible. Wiki Reflections I think it is a good idea because our world is becoming more and more technology based and on computers that it is good to do it before we go onto college.
2/7/12 Think Again
I have read 30 pages from the last entry, so I am on page 75. I think the strengths of this novel are that it keeps you guessing on it. Once you think you have figured out the whole crime, think again. For example, when Proctor is telling his wife that he thinks that Abagail's dancing was the witchcraft but he can't testify it because Proctor and Abagail were in a room with just them two.
I chose a paragraph that Reverend Hale said. "Hale, holding his hands: No, no. Now let me instruct you. We cannot look to superstition in this. The Devil is precise; the marks of his presence are definite as stone, and I must tell you all that I shall not proceed unless you are prepared to believe me if I should find no bruise of hell upon her." In this paragraph Hale is saying that the Devil did this to the girl. Saying that the "Devil is precise;" meaning the devil knows what he is doing and that he did this for a reason, and that if no one believes him he will not proceed and help them. This is my favorite paragraph because I think everything happens for a reason, and that the devil did not do this but someone has a plan for all the people who have been involved in this situation.

Reverend Hale
Reverend Hale is a witch-hunter. The first time you hear about Reverend Hale he goes to look at Betty. I think he is well-known and he is very smart. He also believes in his ethics and the law. He seems to be very committed to the court.

The Crucible
I choose The Crucible by Arthur Miller because I have read a little bit about it and it sounds interesting. I like Harry Potter and that's sort of like witchcraft but I don't really know. I know this book is about witchcraft and that a girl goes into a comba because of supposably witchcraft. I think in this book that is going to be interesting because I have never really read anything like it.
